Service Description

Basic Skills are for children ages 6-12 years old with little or no skating experience. Basic Skills teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for figure skating, hockey and speed skating. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. Upon completion of the Basic Skills 1-6 levels, skaters will be able to confidently advance to more specialized areas of skating. Skip 1/31, 2/7, 2/14 Attention Saturday Skaters, Please note that unfortunately there are three skip dates in a row during this session. To help skaters stay consistent and continue progressing, we highly recommend scheduling an extra class during these weeks. To arrange an additional class, please email us at admin@chicagoedgeskating.com. You will be charged the regular class rate (not the higher drop-in rate).
